Infinity Train, you guys! This is one of Cartoon Network's best shows in recent years by far. Book one is a strong start, with a great story, characters, animation, and soundtrack, and it only continues to get better from there. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new animated series to get into, however I would warn that especially in books 2 and 3 the show can get a little bit intense, so I'd be cautious showing it to kids under 10. That being said, it all depends on the kid, and I've seen reports of children under 10 really enjoying Infinity Train!

Currently only books one and two are on DVD, but I'd love to see books three and four released on DVD as well. I also hope the popularity of this series helps CN to see that they made a mistake by cutting it off when they did, and that we'll get more of this show in the future.

This is a DVD so, 480p resolution in an hd (at least) world. Region 1, so it will only play on USA or multiregion players, most of pc readers are multiregion, this is part of the description, read it before buying.

This is the only legal way to watch it (as of may 2023), so it is better than nothing for a great first season, you can always use an upscaler to "deal" with the blurriness.

10 brief but sharply written episodes (10 minutes each) tell a complete story about a young girl who wanders onto a mysterious train and finds each train car contains a different world. Some very creative and fun storytelling here blends with animation that allows for anything and impressive voice work (including Kate Mulgrew and Ernie Hudson). The soundtrack is very cool: electronic and quite retro. It feels like a modern day Wizard of Oz (or maybe Alice in Wonderland) as she gathers a few friends along the way.

A really charming series, though likely to be baffling and / or slightly scary for very young kids. Anywhere from maybe around age 7 upwards would be fine and adults will absolutely enjoy the creativity of the show. Some adult issues (divorce, loss) are handled tastefully.

Some brief extras on the DVD are amusing but don't reveal too much into the development of the show, and I understand there will be another series, so that's excellent news.
