Updated review: Revised from 3 to 5 stars because Brent from Case Club emailed me about the issue and worked out a solution that did not cost me a dime to implement. Basically Brent determined that the foam for the upper lid had been inserted backwards by the production team, so he sent me out a replacement foam that I can glue in myself. My problem was definitely a rarity. Great customer service, will definitely be doing business with Case Club again!
The case would get 5 stars from me if I didn't have a latch break on while simply locking it down in place on my first excursion with it. On a boat. In pouring rain. In Alaska. With the failed latch, the case doesn't have enough of a seal for me to have confidence this case is still waterproof (had moisture on the interior foam after trying making due with 3 latches for the rest of the fishing day) , and not being able to trust it on the water or in rain pretty much kills my main use for it. Not sure if I got a bad batch of latches on my case, but if you're getting this case to keep your drone dry like I did, you don't want to get stuck out in the elements with a chance of ruining your drone.
update: Have been using this case for a while and after being skeptical enough to almost send it back , I am now really liking it and glad I got it and saved more than $100 over a pelican case. I used a knife ( the ones that have snap off tips ) and relieved the foam in the lid where it touches the top of the P4 by cutting a shallow "pyramid" in the foam. Also cut off the "peaks" of the foam in the lid where the controller sits. These actions now let the lid close with just enough pressure. Also, the motors were leaving an imprint in the foam . There are holes to fit them but I removed a little bit of foam at the bottom of these holes in the lid and now all of the pressure is on the body of the P4 .
