The Case X-Small Executive LockBack with Case Logo is a must own Case Product. Constructed with a locking blade, this knife is a blend of a fixed blade knife and a traditional pocket folder. The locking mechanism locks the blade when opening blade all the way. Push the Tumbler located at the top of the handle to release the locking mechanism and close the knife. This pocket knife features a locking Drop point blade and a brushed stainless steel handle with the Case Logo. The Drop Point blade is commonly used as a general work knife and can be used for tasks such as cutting, skinning, and carving. This blade is very strong and versatile. This durable folding knife is constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance. This pocket folder is a great everyday carry for projects around the house or the outdoors. The slim design is perfect for a pocket or purse. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. Proudly made in the USA, hand-crafted by skilled artisans.
Top Customer Reviews
I remember he's always having a hard time finding a great knife that's small, has a locking blade. Something that's not too big, not too heavy, ect. One night I stumbled upon this so after reading some reviews this seemed like not only the perfect pocket knife but a great birthday present. It was. He absolutely loves it. While incredibly trivial his only complaint is that the tip didn't come a thinner point for a toothpick; not a huge deal. This knife is the perfect size pocket knife & exactly what's he's always looking for after he broke his favorite knife years ago. Comfortable to use, small and light in the pocket, locking blade, great edge on the blade. I'm not one to carry a pocket knife but I'm tempted to pick one up for myself. To anyone looking for a great little pocket knife this is definitely a Winner!! I have a feeling at some point due to misuse I'll be buying him another one of these Case & Sons Cutlery knives. Solid quality and a perfect little pocket knife in size, weight and blade size.
In regard to this particular knife, by all means, get the Bucklite instead. Nothing was done to remove the rough edges. The back side of the blade is almost as sharp as the cutting edge. On the plus side, the diamond checkering in the plastic scales provides a very good grip.
I've lost a lot of knives and a good number where expensive. At 6-1/2 in. there's enough handle for big hands and plenty of blade for
cutting. When I have to use paint, roofing tar, grease and what ever else along those lines I always get it on my hands and then on everything I touch
unlike an expensive bone handle knife its no big deal with this knife. Rite out of the box its not impressive looking but once you start using it
you'll see and feel the Case quality. The blade was sharp out of the box but the edge was rough cut no big deal I ran it over a medium oil stone
and smoothed it out. I do carry a 163 bone handle Trapper o my belt to impress friends and family but I have a147 in my pocket now. So if your
looking for a good beater knife but don't want a cheap china made knife the 147 might be what your looking for.it might not be a looker but it
will get the job done (Crafted With Pride In The USA) . Oh I also bought a second one as a backup
I bought this knife because many years ago, I saw a TV show about how these knifes are made in the manufacturing process . They are made in Pennsylvania and W.R. Case & Sons has a a lot of skilled employees turning out these knifes on a daily basis
