The Case-it D-146 Mighty Zip Tab Zipper Binder is an efficiently-designed 3-ring organizer with a five-color, tabbed expanding file folder. This large-capacity binder also features a gusseted zipper for easy access plus a carry handle and shoulder strap for versatile mobility. The zipper has a unique angled design to make it easier and quicker to zip things up when packed with your important papers and materials. The D-146, like all of Case-it's binders, uses Kraft board instead of PE board to give its binders a firm, stiff shape that won't buckle or warp. The spine is specially designed so that your binder can lay flat when open, making it easier to add or take papers out, and to take notes in. Case-it produces quality binders offering unique organizational tools for school or home use.

Great buy and wonderful product!
It's been applying enough pressure onto my daughters shoulder so much we wound up at the chiro for the last three weeks.
A thicker strap is a must have for this. Once we realized what caused the issue we swapped out a duffle bag strap for the one that came with the binder.
Anyhow, he loves it and can fit all of his stuff in it without anything falling out. It's incredibly sturdy so it should last at least half the year. This is where the silly part comes in to play; it's enormous. I'm not being hyperbolic here. The thing is gigantic and won't fit in a backpack. This thing won't even fit in a large backpack. My son loves the darn thing so much he doesn't want a different one. He's taken to calling it his "brinder" because it's a cross between a binder and a briefcase. Everyday he brings his backpack AND carries his "brinder" to school. So he looks like a silly, little businessman middle school nerd.
--It loads up with all of his materials. He fills this binder with 100s of pages of materials, both loose and in the three rings, and yet he's always able to zip it up.
--He likes that it zips so that he can carry his stuff without losing the loose-leaf items
--He likes the extra pouches for pencils, pens, and other materials.
--He likes the strap and the handle because he uses them to"drag it around", as he puts it.
Yes, this binder is more expensive then the old-school binders. However, I've saved money with this purchase, since I'm not buying a new three-ring binder for my son every couple of weeks.
