The case is soft sided and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The blue is more a royal blue, not overly bright but a nice color.
I'm gonna run through these games and explain why this is such a good deal.
1. Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Augmented Edition + Missing Link DLC
Not only are you getting the Augmented Edition (some extra DLC), you're also getting the Missing Link DLC here. A "deal" on both of these items is typically around $10. So if you go by that reasoning, you're getting this, and 6 more games for free. Besides the obvious savings, this is supposed to be a very, very good game, and well worth the money at much higher prices. This is the headliner of this bundle, hands down, in terms of savings and quality.
2. Hitman: Blood Money
While the controls on this game have been called a bit dated, this is still a great title that has only been as cheap as $2.50 a few times. It's not the biggest savings in the bundle, but it's still a solid game that's worth the money.
3. Just Cause
Admittedly, this is probably the worst game in the bundle. Reportedly, there is no reason to play Just Cause if you have Just Cause 2... Good news though, if you bought this bundle, you have Just Cause 2! That said, this game is still worth the $1.24 you're getting it for here.
4. Just Cause 2
This game is good. It's been pretty cheap in the past (around $3), but never this cheap, and it's worth a lot more than this in terms of quality. This is a wild sandbox style game where you can do pretty much anything; one of my favorite activities in the demo was parachuting (it's got a very dynamic and amazing parachuting system) onto a massive crane, planting remote explosives all over it, and then parachuting off and detonating them as you glide off into the sunset. The physics of this game are awesome, and there's also a multiplayer mod in the works! You want this game.
5. Quantum Conundrum
If you're expecting the awesomeness of Portal 1/2, you're probably not going to find it here, but this is still an interesting and solid puzzle game. Definitely worth $1.24. Note that this DOESN'T include the season pass DLC that other sites have sold it with, though.
6. Supreme Commander 2
This isn't the brightest highlight of the Supreme Commander series, but it still has pretty good reviews, and again, is clearly worth $1.24 even if you aren't a big fan of RTS games.
7. The Last Remnant
A nice addition to the bundle, this is a very deep and well made RPG. The cheapest it has been elsewhere has been around $4, so this is the best deal there has even been on it. Definitely one of the top three games in this bundle, and well worth the money.
In closing, there's nothing more to say. If you see this bundle for sale, buy it!
Simply put, As a PC gamer of many years, I was disappointed to find that most of the games in the pack are simply direct console ports. The controls and graphics on most of them therefore are pretty lackluster compared to PC games of the same era. The games I spent any significant amount of time on can be summed up simply, Deus ex is 5 star material but the pack is marred by the other games.
Deus Ex Human revolution.
As a fan of the series, I felt this title alone, was worth the purchase of the pack. I can't argue with such a polished game for 10 dollars. The graphics and gameplay are very well done, and overall the voice acting is pretty good as well, if a bit off at a few points. If you like first person games and RPGs then this game is definately worth the time to play. Despite being single player only, I have found value in replaying and have well enjoyed the purchase. If you are also a fan of the series, the pack also contains a DLC for the game. While the DLC is not as amazing as the original game it is definately a strong addition to the mix and gives some great plot detail and background. Definately worth the purchase. If this game was by itself, I would probably give it 5 stars, but its part of a pack that feels like lead weight.
Supreme Commander 2
Again, I was a fan of this series, until now I guess. Simply put, this game is trying too hard to be every other RTS on the market. Supreme commander 2 is almost nothing like the first one and unfortunately that's a bad thing in this case. The game feels extremely dumbed down, with tiny maps that a single artillery base can cover from any point, nuclear missiles that give you the impression of fireworks rather than strategic weaponry and an overall lack of inspiring visuals marring the game. That, added to the fact that with at least the Aeon faction, the developers wouldn't even take their game seriously enough to give the units actual names. I find it hard to take a game seriously with "wedoboth" being the name of my multi-role fighter bomber or "willfindja" being the name of my submarine hunting hovercraft. Sure some might find this little quirk endearing, but for a faction that is supposedly a religious militia, (one that was taken seriously in the first game) I don't even know how the voice acting made it through with a straight face. Of course, if you think about it, the joke is so dull that its pretty easy to get through saying it with a straight face after all.
If that wasn't enough, air units are completely over-tuned in this game, and in its effort to try and become starcraft, defenses in this iteration of the game are pretty much meaningless, making the massive swarms of gunships that all AI players inevitably build, impossible to counter no matter what. Prepare for a lackluster campaign and a very short tour of duty with this game.
The rest....
What can I say, I installed most of them , and within hours of trying had uninstalled. Just cause 2 for example was mildly interesting, but obviously an xbox game and lost my interest very quickly. Again, having played much more modern games, the hitman game (designed for console) and its clunky control scheme found its way off my hard drive rather fast as well.
Overall this pack is about one game and one game only, Deus Ex, its easily worth 10 dollars and the DLC is 15 more on steam, so you get at LEAST 25 dollars worth from this pack. IF you are a console enthusiast, then try some of the others but I would not hold my breath.
