I’ve used Caseology for my previous two iPhones and just updated to an iPhone X. I purchased the Burgundy/Gold and the looks and fit were generally great for about 2 days. The gold immediately started to peel to reveal the white plastic. Be warned, that this did happen to my previous case however I figured it was due to humidity caused by a vacation in Central America. Unfortunately this new case’s gold detail began peeling almost immediately, coming off like cheap nail polish on my fingers. The previous case had a beige/tan plastic which made it less noticeable but the white plastic is all too noticeable and looks a bit trashy. I’m disappointed because this was my go-to phone case company.I’m giving it some stars because overall I like the feel and fit of the case. It’s slim yet has grip and the geometric pattern is appealing. As far as protection, I used my previous case for 2 years without issue but I do take care of my phones and rarely tend to drop them.I like the cases but the quality of paint needs to be improved for continued consumer support.

I will start by saying that the protection this case offers is great! I owned this exact case but for my iphone 6 and used it for about a year and it saved me countless of times and held up perfectly, great case!! I was excited to see that caseology was selling the same case for the new x. I had it on my phone for not even 2 days and the gold around the edge (where you would place the phone down) starting chipping. I will add I have been very careful with this phone and have not had any unusual drops or anything that would cause the case to look this way. (photo included of case after 1 week of usage). Very disappointed with the quality of this case.

I love this case. Fits well, great grip lines and provides great protection. UPDATE: after two months the silver portion of the case is being worn showing tgat the silver portion of the cas was PAINTED! Come on Caseology!!! Painting??? Why not infusing the color as part of the material??? Too costly??? Well it sucks....the wear shown is on a case I’ve had for two month
