Old, rotting nuts with a fake expiration date
Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2022
These cashews were soft and squishy. I could squeeze them between my fingers like a gummy bear.Furthermore, the package has a date on it that looks like an expiration date (though it doesn't say that), but it's December 24, 2023 - 19 months from now. Cashews don't last that long, even in the refrigerator, so this appears to be a fake date intended to appear as a legitimate expiration date. There is no other date on the package.Incidentally, I also ordered a package of almonds from the same brand, and it has the same sticker with the same date on it. Again, raw nuts don't last that long, so it appears to be intentionally deceptive. The good news is that I contacted Amazon customer support and they refunded my money.
