J. Lynne Moore, is a poet coming into her own. She started writing poetry almost 35 years ago, as a teenager, with the hopes of becoming a published poet. However, life had a different path for Jessie, as a wife and mother. She married in her early twenties and had two sons, whom she has devoted her life too. She spent the next twenty-five years homeschooling her sons and niece, as well as running her household and being very involved with 4-H, as a leader. Poetry would have to wait.

Now, divorced, her children grown and starting families of their own, she is splitting her time between writing and homeschooling her grandchildren. In January 2016 she decided to pick up her personal passion and vowed to work toward her long-held dream of being a published author.

Her Christian faith is the foundation that she has built her life on, leaning on that faith for all aspects of her life. Jessie has an Associate’s degree in Accounting and is perusing her Bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in creative writing. She is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars as well as a member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.

Jessie’s free time is spent playing video games, watching YouTube and doing yoga. She is a prolific writer on Wattpad as well as the admin of several Wattpad groups. She also has a personal blog, Cashmere Illusions on WordPress, where you can find more of her poetry and short stories.
