“An exciting read… hard to put down.”
--Midwest Book Review
“I read a lot of thriller type books and I thought your book was very good. Perhaps Oliver Steele will be our next super hero and Graham Tempest will enjoy a long run of best sellers.”
--Don Kirkendall (Inspector General, US Treasury, retired)
“Enjoying your book. Yesterday, when I was in the bus, I became so ensconced in the story that I missed my stop—now there’s an accolade.”
--Raficq Abdulla MBE (Author, Words of Paradise: Selected Poems of Rumi; Trustee, English PEN Club)
About the Author
Graham Tempest is the pen name of Jeremy Stone, a British accountant who moved to the United States in 1976, and later became an American citizen. Stone grew up in Oxfordshire. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Cambridge where he worked on the university newspaper Varsity. He worked as an engineer for just long enough to realize that he would never make a decent engineer, then changed course and trained as a chartered accountant. He joined an international mining company and traveled all over the world on investigatory assignments. He moved to California doing the same kind of work and eventually started his own practice with a special interest in offshore tax havens, serving on the International Tax Committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He now lives in Florida. One of his favorite places is Miami because of its high energy, spectacular views, fantastic Cuban food, and the sultry tropical atmosphere of Coconut Grove.
