Most of the timepieces in my collection are automatics, save for my Seiko Flightmaster. I’ve been wanting to add another quartz piece without spending too much, and this watch checked off everything I was looking for.
The pros in my opinion:
It looks more expensive than it really is. I bought the one with the white dial, and it looks clean, immaculate, and classy. It shouldn’t be hard to dress up, and can definitely go with anything else.
The quartz movement is solid, and I love how the second hand stops almost exactly at each minute marker, and doesn’t tremble at each tick.
Clocking in at 40mm, the watch isn’t too big or small.
You get crown guards and a screw down crown. You don’t see that a lot in watches in this price range. The screw down crown also attributes to the the 100m WR.
The cons in my opinion
Despite the bracelet looking cool with a bling factor, it jingles and jangles. The clasp is pressed metal, nothing special. There’s also no fold over security.
Mineral glass instead of sapphire and no AR coating. At this price, it’s permissible.
After adding everything up, this is an amazing watch for the money! It’s made better than any fashion watch in its price range in my opinion. Definitely happy to have this in my collection.
