You will too once you strap this miracle of modern technology on your non dominate wrist. Clearly designed with a sophisticated gentleman in mind during the design phase. Sure you can purchase a "smart watch" if you enjoy charging yet another device.
People; it's a watch. It does what a watch is supposed to do: Date, Time, Alarm, day of the week, and timer. The battery lasts longer than your first marriage (that whore) and is twice as durable than any smart watch. I took one of these to Iraq and back and it never let me down.
Summary: if you need a water resistant watch that tells the date/time, is dependable, long battery life, and has some ancillary features, this one is for you. If you need a device that connects to your phone and does things that the large screen already in your pocket does, this isn't for you.
Update: second watch and band split in 17 months, but it has a ten year battery!
The watch comes with an alarm, stopwatch and second timezone feature, none of which I consider all that useful. Still, that's a pretty minimal feature set, and minimal is GOOD; the fewer bells and whistles, the less complicated a watch is to use. The 100m water resistance is also a huge plus in the convenience department; that's the minimum water resistance it's actually safe to swim with (ratings are based on completely still water). Add to that the fact that it's accurate enough you only really have to reset it when daylight savings comes in and out, and you can just put this on your wrist and forget it.
The electroluminescent display backlight is adequate -- certainly better than the Casios from the early 90s, but not quite as uniform as Timex's Indiglo feature. Also automatic backlighting would have been nice, but is not to be expected at a $13 price point.
The low price also means you get a resin (marketer-speak for "plastic") strap, but I actually think resin works better than the more expensive silicone for something this light. Silicone can get uncomfortable when you're sweaty. If you have a thing against plastic you can replace the band with any 18mm width after market strap. In the image I've attached, I've paired this watch with a "Goldfinger" style nylon NATO strap -- yes, that's a $40 band on a $13 watch, although you can get cheaper versions here on Amazon for under $10. The point isn't how much the band costs relative to the watch, it's how much you enjoy it.
And this is a watch you actually can enjoy for its aesthetics. Square is a good shape for a digital watch, and the size delivers plenty of legibility without getting in the way of sleeves or catching on things. It's not easy to see in the Amazon image, but the watch also has subtle hints of color -- blue outlining around the crystal and a little red lettering. These touches are subdued but elevate the design.
That may sound funny to say about a $13 watch, but why shouldn't something like this be designed thoughtfully? As a watch collector I have maybe five digital watches in my collection, but this and the iconic F-91W are the only ones that get regular "wrist time".

Only had it for a week so cannot really give a realistic view. I hope the marking proves to be the same in a years.time.
May 2015 Update. Strap snapped.
So watch lasts about 2.5 years. Shame they dont bother making better straps but it would impact their sales I'm guessing. Urgh!
I first synchronized the watch using the official NIST US Time clock (time.gov). It uses the atomic clock and corrects for network delay, so it's probably the most accurate way to check verify the timing. I then (>5 months later) used a camera to record the watch and computer screen simultaneously and measured the number of frames between the watch and computer displaying a time value. I calculated a time difference of 1.43 SECONDS.
Now, your watch may vary as time drift is dependant on temperature and uncontrollable factors in the crystal. I may have won the Quartz lottery with a very precise crystal. That said, I'm very pleased with this watch's accuracy.
The alarm can be set to daily alarm, single alarm, once a month, or every day for a certain month.
It lacks a countdown timer out of the box; HOWEVER, there is a hardware modification that can be done to the board that will unlock it, but depends on whether you have the right module (3240 in my case). See the photo I included for proof.
Also, the strap is a little long for thinner wrists. But, this can be remedied by using the strap from a Casio F91W and putting on thinner spring bars than the stock spring bars on the W800H.
UPDATE - May 2020: I still own this watch and have been wearing it a lot during the Covid lockdown. Here are things that I really appreciate about it now -
1) It shows EVERYTHING at a quick glance;
2) It has a dedicated light button, it is used for light only, unlike the light button on the other cheap Casios that are shared with other functions (which is such a pain!);
3) It actually has a very good light;
4) The buttons are easy to press, unlike those on my G-Shock - this is great when the alarm goes off and you are trying to disable it while half asleep.
