The Casio Men's Classic Silver-Tone Band Sport Watch features an intuitive design that makes it easy-to-use for athletes during strenuous workouts. The timepiece is constructed with a stainless steel case, a stationary stainless steel bezel, and a stainless steel wristband with a double-push-button-fold-over safety clasp. A durable mineral window shields the digital-blue dial face, which features a digital time display along with the day, date, and month. The watch also includes a 10-year battery, a prominent illumination button, and several other function buttons that allow you to personalize your display to suit your workout.
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.
Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

The three circular things at the top of the display are mainly for looks, the two smaller circles count 10 seconds at a time continuously with a digital notch, and the big middle circle counts one notch every ten seconds that pass. I haven't figured out why one would need to use this feature, but like I said it looks cool. It also has a world time feature that lets you adjust time zones by changing to a city in the specific zone. I also don't need this feature, so I haven't used it, but its easy to use it by hitting the mode button.
It claims to have a mineral display that helps protect the screen from scratches. I have a couple very slight scratches already that are hardly noticeable. I don't know if this is typical, since its been a while since I've had a watch. They can only be seen when trying to see them.Read more ›
The item is just as the picture, same thing with the description. The watch is not as heavy as my others old Casio which I really like since I'm going to use this one for work 10+ hours. Is really a good watch, I love it.
Once while scrubbing it under the faucet to clean it, the display went blank and it lost it's settings. I can't be sure I didn't just press some combination of buttons that would make it blank, although I don't know what that combination would be, so I wonder if perhaps it's not actually as water resistant as it claims. However it recovered quickly and after resetting the time and date that were lost, it is still running fine since then.
