A runaway bride !
Shipwrecked with Hotty, sexy Matt Slade, Cristy finds herself day dreaming - lusting for him, he makes her pulse race, her heart flutter and tingles in places like never before. An attraction she has never felt , Matt brings out a yearning in Cristy she never existed.
Matt and Cristy explore the island, and eventually give in to desires they both can't deny, passionate and sensual just living for the moment. Matt is not who is says he is and Cristi not the gold digger Matt thinks she is.
A Love affair that brings about a passion and sparks within, but can their love survive outside the Island and moments and memories they have created?
Can they learn to trust their feelings - or move on to never know if love ever knew existed!
Oh my !!
This books reminds me of my most Favorite movie ever *Blue Lagoon *, of course it is not!! But I couldn't help but relate my thoughts to a beautiful island, waterfalls, seafood at hand, and fresh fruit and nakedness and frolicking in the water. !
Yes it has all this... oh and hot romantic interludes !!!
Kandy has created a romantic story, that's jam packed filled with passion, love, and two souls who have never found true love. A smooth flowing story, with chapters that easily flow, a great cast of characters that I am sure you will fall in love with. An dialogue thats crisp and flowing.
Cristy and Matt`s chemistry was like a bonfire and a raging inferno!Read more ›
Sweet story, and the descriptions of the island made me want to go get stranded there immediately!
They have chemistry, but each have relationship baggage that causes them to be distrustful of the other.
A fun story with spicy scenes make this a great beach read.
In shock and outrage, Christy hightails it out of there. She literally runs into Matt Slade, a mysterious yet compelling stranger. He helps her get away from her pursuing groom. Soon Christy and Matt are on a yacht headed out to sea. And into a storm that wrecks the boat and casts the two upon a desert island.
From there on, a most engaging romantic fantasy unfolds. Both characters have to deal with issues from their past that impair their ability to love.
Matt must make sense of his gorgeous yet puzzling companion. Is she a golddigger, intent on going through with the interrupted wedding once they're rescued? And Christy must figure out Matt. Is he just another beach bum, possibly a boat thief? Or someone else entirely?
Author Kandy Shepherd relates their story in a skillful manner. She captures well each detail of the Eden-like setting, each plot development, each emotional nuance as Christy and Matt's relationship grows. Surprises, ironies, and humorous incidents abound. And what a way the author has with love scenes! She runs the gamut from sweet to sizzling.
I especially appreciate the feeling of you-are-there, how easily it is for the reader to put herself in Christy's place. And how Ms. Shepherd makes the story fascinating even though most scenes involve only two characters.Read more ›
I really enjoyed reading this story. The descriptions Ms.Shepherd gives of the island Cristy and Matt are marooned are absolutely beautiful. I wanted to be there. The chemistry and passion between Cristy and Mat is also very well written, and saying it's hot, just might be an understatement. Fiery is better, and scorching is best. I liked how both Cristy and Matt had issues that added more depth to them, making neither of them perfect.
Having read most of Kandy's previous novels, I am eagerly looking forward to reading more from her in the future!

Well am I bad? I liked it even though it's somewhat naughty, not 'dirty', just naughty. Fun read.

For a 99 cent book I enjoy the story and the short amount of time it took to read. Kind of like a coffee break with a great cookie in the middle of the afternoon. Read morePublished on September 12, 2012 by M. M. Hughes
