More murder, mayhem and mystery in Victorian London!
Katherine and Connie are a little older, perhaps a little wiser, but no less ready for adventure!
Together they tackle cases at the height of society, in the streets of London, and uncomfortably close to home. As their success grows, they encounter tougher obstacles — sometimes devised by their adversaries, and sometimes caused by their families. But it takes more than a few obstacles to keep Caster and Fleet down…
Join Caster and Fleet in their final three cases:
The Case of the Masquerade Mob
The Case of the Fateful Legacy
The Case of the Crystal Kisses

Liz Hedgecock grew up in London, England, did an English degree, and then took forever to start writing. After several years working in the National Health Service, some short stories crept into the world. A few even won prizes. Then the stories started to grow longer...
Now Liz travels between the nineteenth and twenty-first centuries, murdering people. To be fair, she does usually clean up after herself.
Liz’s reimaginings of Sherlock Holmes, her Pippa Parker cozy mystery series, and the Caster & Fleet Victorian mystery series (with Paula Harmon) are available in ebook and paperback.
Liz lives in Cheshire with her husband and two sons, and when she’s not writing or child-wrangling you can usually find her reading, messing about on Twitter, or cooing over stuff in museums and art galleries. That's her story, anyway, and she's sticking to it.

The characters have matured and grown into their skins as they cope with the conflicting pull of work and family.
If I have one criticism, it’s that the plots can be a little too convoluted at times, but the main characters are well drawn, the historical detail is fine and the books are so enjoyable!
Highly recommended as a pick me up in gloomy January.

I love that I have no idea what is going right until the grand reveal in these mysteries. But I have become immersed in the world of Katherine and Connie, and am always wondering what will happen next to them and their nearest and dearest.
It has been such a joy to find this series. I have not wanted it to come to end.
Searching for more similar stories, I have just bought the Maisie Frobisher Mysteries.
