Made from Type AA nylon seine twine, this black netcoat treated twine is resistant to abrasion, oil, gasoline, mildew, rot, marine growth, and most chemicals. Stiff and at times tacky from the treat, this twine has excellent knotting qualities. Uses for this twine include: bushcraft, trot line, decoy line, net making and mending, workshop, crafts, gardening, construction, and commercial applications. Any place a high quality twisted tarred nylon twine is needed, this tarred twine will fill the bill.

Also have used bank twine about the house and garden, so having a few rolls of this about is a good investment.
Just pick which size best suits your needs.
This is one of those bits of kit that the value ISN'T equal to its cost. Awesome. Get some.
The bank line is available in a variety of sizes and either braided or twisted. The spools are measured by weight, so the larger sized lines have less length. The 1/4 lb spool of #36 line I purchased has 117' line on it while the #12 line has 470'. Either way that is a heck of a lot of strong line for the price.
I use this line for my tarp camping setup. I prefer it over paracord. I use the #36 for heavier stuff and the #12 for lighter duty. The line is very weather resistant and holds knots well. The lines work well as ridge and guy lines for a tarp, clothes line (to air out blankets too), hangers (tie around a tree to hang stuff up off the ground on carabiners), lashings, and the zillion other things one uses cordage for in the woods. One 1/4 lb roll of each size is enough line to keep me going through the forseeable future.
This one has the same picture as that but no specification. I wrote a question to them and asked specifically about the length and diameter. They answered me what the diameter is but didn't answer what the length is. Thinking it is the same as "Catahoula Tarred Twisted Nylon Twine", I ordered it because it is a little bit cheaper in total, $3.99 + $7.99 shipping. When I received it today, it is the same brand but much shorter (117 ft) than that of Catahoula Tarred Twisted Nylon Twine (470 ft). Than i understand why they didn't tell me the length.
Catahoula Tarred Twisted Nylon Twine
I used it for just about everything imaginable. It was really great stuff, and very strong.
Eventually I ran out. I looked all over hoping to find some more. No luck.
Very recently I was running through Amazon just looking around. Low and behold I found some. I couldn't be more thrilled.
Needless to say I told myself I would not run out again. I ordered many spools of both braided and twisted. This is really great line. You can use this cordage for absolutely anything and everything.
The sky is the limit.
Bottom line, I couldn't be more pleased.
You will love it and it's many uses.
If you're not sure, just purchase one spool.
You will not be sorry. Just don't run out !
As for the person who gave it 1 star, they apparently didn't realize that the length of each spool is dictated by the line diameter of that spool. 5 stars all the way for this stuff!
