This is my first read by Natalie Rios. I loved the writing style, although it did start off a little slow for me; but after the first two chapters it caught my attention and had me hooked until the end. I loved that she had both POV’s, so you can see both sides of the story. Liz and Anthony make the cutest couple. Liz is well set in her ways and Anthony is just as stubborn and wants things his way.
Liz Rockwell is a billionaire that is a successful divorce attorney. She never thought she would have to use her skills for herself, when she wakes up with Anthony Carter and with wedding rings on her finger, while on a trip to Vegas. Liz just wants out of the marriage but Anthony has other plans. Anthony is in debt up to his ears and wants Liz to pay off his debts with her money; however she wants nothing to do with her dysfunctional family’s money.
Will Liz and Anthony be able to move past the money differences and keep their marriage?
How to Catch an Heiress is Natalie Rios’ debut novel and the first book in The Heiress Series. I look forward to reading more of Natalie’s books and definitely of The Heiress Series.

Liz and Anthony are both in need of a break of the curve balls life has thrown at them. Their relationship isn't always easy, lies and secrets always have a way of getting out, but working through the issues and getting to know each other better prove to be just what they need.
This was an enjoyable read that's sweet with a touch of angst to keep things interesting. Anthony and Liz are overall very likable individuals even when they make decision that are less than favorable. But in the end, I couldn't help but fall in love with this couple. And I am looking forward to the next book in this series.
Anthony’s motivations are clear, but I was never fully convinced that Liz would just let him move in given her fear of commitment, her terror of being used for money and family connections, and her (correct) intuition that Anthony was up to no good. In trying to set up a situation where Liz can fall for Anthony despite herself, Rios lets plausibility fly right out the window.
I would have appreciated a more complete explanation of how Anthony even wound up on the hook for his mother’s hospital bills. Although they certainly would have consumed her estate, in most instances, adult children aren’t on the hook for any medical debt assumed by their parents. Also, there is a confusing mistake near the end. We’re told at the beginning of a chapter that a year has passed, but the events and conversation in the chapter quickly make it clear that it was only a month or so later. The book needs another read by someone with an eye for details like this.
There was enough going on to keep me interested in this book, but at the same time there was a lot of back and forth for me. I did end up enjoying the plot, but the the contents from about chapter three until the third to last chapter seemed like Anthony and Liz would get somewhere, just to have a set back. I'm all for slow burn, but this seemed to be hot-potato to me.
Liz seems strong willed, which is great. I do love that her personality is unique and fits well with her Lawyer career.
Anthony seems to be way to smart to be where he's at in life, but Liz shows him things that he's never thought about which in my opinion means they should be together. I also FLOVE the complements he gives her, they are nerdy and beautiful!
They challenge one other, and that's one of the great things about their relationship.
In all, I would recommend this book, but only if asked.
