Editorial Reviews

From the Author

Question: Why did you write this book?
Phillips: I wrote this book to answer every questionthat every fisherman asks, each time he goes fishing, and each time he casts arod. He wants to know how and where to catch the biggest and the most bass inany lake. To learn the answers to these questions, I went to the people whoseincomes are directly related as to how they answer those questions. The men inthis book have answered those questions so well that they're some of the bestbass fishermen in the nation.

Question: John, each one of these professionalfishermen you've interviewed has a different way to locate and catch thebiggest bass in any lake. Why are their answers all so different?
Phillips: There's not one answer to this question. There are many answers, and each of these professional fishermen uses themethod that suits him and his style of fishing the best. Each person who readsthis book has a different style of bass fishing, so he or she can match hisstyle to the suggestions made by the pros.
