Souls at Play: A Reflection on Creativity is due to be published in 2013 as the third in the ‘Holy Leisure Trilogy’. With a background in business management and technical writing, Charlotte works with non-profit organizations to prepare for their growth – helping craft their stories, articulate mission statements and dreams, and refine operating procedures. She has tutored college students in writing, edited dissertations, helped with grant applications and artist statements and ghost-written autobiography. The common thread in all these endeavors is her desire to help others weave together the words that authentically express their own thoughts in their own voices. Charlotte lives with her husband, Russ, and five of their eight children on a ‘farm wannabe’ north of Lawrence, Kansas. She sings in the Sursum Corda Polyphony Ensemble and at her home church, the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center. She is a member of the Family of the Apostles of the Interior Life, in Kansas City, Kansas. Charlotte has spoken for home educators, women’s retreats, moms groups, C.S. Lewis Conferences and classes, and more. Her topics include writing as evangelisation, poetic learning, aesthetic education, true beauty, creativity and faith, the art of dialogue, holy leisure, literature and life, interior freedom.
