They play with it from time to time.
When they see me taking out the box of treats they run straight towards it. They KNOW.
They seem to know whenever it comes to food... lol.
The only thing I wish stayed on was the red laser pointer.
It just pops up and disappears a bit while the ball is spinning. My youngest of the three kittens looooves to play.
Laser pointer is her favorite. It manages to keep her glued onto it for a good 2-3 minutes before she gets bored and play elsewhere.
I like that the toy stops and starts. It catches the cats' attention kind of randomly. I also like that it is mostly silent. That is a pleasant surprise.
This is the best kitty toy we have had for a while. They used to like PetSafe Bolt Interactive Laser Cat Toy and they probably would still like it but it has taken enough dives down the staircase that the second one and then the third Humpty couldn't be put together again.
So far though: the cat is mostly indifferent. The sound of the bee's wings is rather loud, and the speed of their rotation may seem unpleasant to cat paws and noses.
Your cat may respond differently.
So far my cat has looked at it..but not touched it. The dog barked at it a LOT.
Sometimes the cat adapts to new toys over time. I'll update if his approach changes.
Update: the cat is occasionally interested in this...when it is turned off.
When it's turned on, both the dog and cat now stare it (and especially the labor) in the way they stare at anything that puzzles them.
