I gasped, I laughed, I cried, I swooned.
I rooted for characters, I hated characters, I loved characters, I missed characters.
There is so much more to this book than a sexy fireman, so so much more. I lived with these characters in my head for so long I missed them when the story finished. Prepare for book hangover with this one!

Kacey did such a good job at making me feel a variety of emotions throughout the book, and I think that was one of the reasons I had a hard time putting the book down. I spent a great deal of the book laughing and giggling, and there were moments where I was just crushed along with Callie. I feel like the book moved you constantly and there wasn't any one moment where I just was so frustrated with it that I couldn't continue.
I will be telling everyone about this book for the foreseeable future.

These are the things I've come to know about Kacey Shea and her writing:
1. You just don't know what to expect, even if the trope seems familiar.
2. Watch out for that emotional punch.
3. Her heroines are ALWAYS of the powerful variety.
This book... this book you guys. Kacey Shea has really done me in this time. I wish I could force everyone to read this book so that I have someone to talk to about it.

The writing is fantastic. The story flows well, has great character development, and nothing is left undone. It's full of hot firemen, humor, and real life experiences.

Kacey Shea delivers a tumultuous love story that will leave you dreaming about firemen and them coming to your rescue for many nights to come. Caught in the Flames not only left me engulfed in the flames of desire but also entrenched in the confusion and craving a happy ever after that I never expected when I opened the book. I highly recommend Caught In The Flames for the yummy, sweaty, fireman, their big hoses, and the unexpected twist and turns that make you laugh, gasp, and fan yourself. Kacey shows us that hope is never lost when it comes to matters of the heart whether it is an unbreakable friendship or an all consuming love.
