How to use:

1.Loosen the outer screw, lay flat the inside hoop, put the cloth on the hoop, then put the outer hoop on the inside hoop.

2. Flat the cloth, make the warp and the welt both vertical and horizontal, ensure there are no pleats

3. Tighten the screws.

4. Inspect the hoop whether it is tight enough. The way to check the tightness is to use a needle with thread going through the fabric surface. It is workable if there is a loudly sound when pulling the thread.

I didn't get any unusable ones in the pack. On the last one, the inner hoop was a little out of round, but once the outer hoop was tightened over it, it looked fine and held the fabric. Here and there you can find a small fiber sticking up from the bamboo, which is easily removed. No problems with the screws.

Some hoops came broken as the were under too much tension and snapped or the screws were tightened too much (I had to unscrew with pliers) that they just cracked. Other than that theyre pretty decent and do what they're made for. Out of the pack of 16 I'd say ~3 were unusable/broken

I ordered a large quantity of these hoops and several were broken and quite a lot didn't fit together well so there were gaps between the inner and outer hoops even when fully tightened. The finish was often rough so that there was a risk of getting splinters too
