Buy this album. You won't regret it. The boys of Biffy Clyro have put out another great disc full of their style of complex musical chaos. A Celebration of Endings is a bit more playful than Ellipsis and more varied in musical textures in ways akin to Puzzle, which gives you that effect of the songs becoming ear-worms in multiple ways again. If you like interesting rock music, yea definitely pick this one up.

One of the signs of a great band is continual growth and diversification of sound. "A Celebration of Endings" harkens back to some of Biffy's earlier work, while simultaneously forging ahead into new territory. This album is incredibly balanced. There are beautiful ballads, brash rock songs, and melodic anthems. There is even a long, prog-esque tune, something their last couple of albums notably lacked. I don't think this is their best album, but it almost encapsulates every album they have ever made. It is a must-have for all Biffy fans, and it is a great introductory album for any music lovers looking to see what Biffy is like. Buy it!

This album is so Biffy, in what you come to expect the unexpected twists in their songs.
Creative, powerful, masterful production.
I had not liked the soundtrack and Ellipsis, but with this album they have raised the bar again and is an instant favorite for me, as Opposites and Only Revolutions were. This is a top 5 rock album of 2020, dynamic and fun.

As you know, there has always been so much to look forward to with A Celebration of Endings as songs have trickled out - Instant History, End Of, Tiny etc...everything hitting the right spots, and the boys sounding better than ever. Now, wait until you listen to North of No South. Is it possible that this is one of the best openers yet?...after 20 years, and JDI, Bodies, Glitter, Captain, Living, Different, Wolves, and Balance? All amazing, and all track number one. North of No South just smashes with beauty and power - it's got it all. Make sure to listen with quality gear, as it'd be a shame any other way. A Celebration of Endings is as good as it gets, and it'd be a disservice if I didn't say that Cop Syrup is what we all had hoped for. From beginning to end, it's a true pleasure.

A diverse collection of modern rock gems, ranging from the sweeping, gorgeous “Space” to the barely concealed rage in “End Of,” culminating in the epic divergence of “Cop Syrup.” The fact that the majority of Americans have no idea who Biffy Clyro are is a crime; but one that can be absolved if you do yourself a favor and pick up this album.

poor cardboard case.

This item was shown as being in a jewel case. Instead a tat cardboard sleeve arrived. I'm sure the cd itself is excellent but photo in the description clearly shows it in a case that can be stored in i civilised manner not a cheap bit of card that offers minimal protection and will end up being dog-eared. I want what was advertised not this bargain bin looking item.

Another incredible album from the Scottish legends

Four years after they released their last album, 'Elipsis', Biffy Clyro have returned with another incredible album, 'A Celebration of Endings,' looking at what's going on in the world politically and socially.
I think it's fair to say that since their last album, 'Elipsis' came out four years ago, a lot has changed in the world, especially in the last year.
What hasn't changed though, is Ben, Simon and James' ability to change pace effortlessly, from songs like 'Space,' track six on the album, through to the closer 'Cop Syrup.'
'Space' and 'Cop Syrup' are without doubt two of my favourite songs on the album, as whilst they're both completely different, they showcase what Biffy Clyro do best.
From being able to break your heart and letting you be vulnerable one minute, to making you wanting to rock out and forget about your troubles the next.
'Cop Syrup' does this perfectly, as I'm sure anyone who's heard it will agree, whilst 'Space' for me is one of the best ballads they've ever made, up there with 'Many of Horror.'
Whilst there's still a few songs on the album that are growing on me, I think there's something for every Biffy fan to enjoy here, whether you've been a fan from the very beginning, or like myself, only became a fan from ''Only Revolutions' onwards.
I'd definitely recommend buying this album, if you're looking for an album full of festival ready anthems to rock out and sing along to.
I can't wait to hopefully hear these songs live at some point, whenever these strange times we're all living through come to an end, as these songs deserved to be heard live in a muddy field or stadium with thousands of others.

The Biff Are Back!

Just buy this. Treat yourself. Revel in the fact that Biffy are back with a solid album, and enjoy! ^^
This packs the kick that their last album was slightly missing and is totally back on form. Some definite ear worms and a great list of tracks in general. A good mix of their old and newer style, and 100% worth investing in. Perfect soundtrack for right now.

Outstanding album with some amazing tracks.

It seems like an eternity has gone by since Biffy Clyro released ‘Only Revolutions’ and ‘Puzzles’. Both album used to be regular Summer albums; therefore, I never imagined that they would release an album as good. Since these albums have been released, Biffy Clyro’s popularity has grown and I have seen them progress from a support act to a headlining act at festivals.
This album is something. It has great tracks and some fantastic song writing. I can only speculate with some songs about what the band are figuratively getting at; however, it is clear on some tracks that they are angry about the political landscape, and there are other tracks which are beautiful.
Holistically, this is my favourite Biffy Clyro album. I think it is balanced, experimental and filled with drive. 2020 has been an awful year, but the timing of this album is brilliant. I was surprised how fantastic it is, and feel that everything they have done as a band has built up to the craftsmanship of this album.
