The author goes into quite a bit of technical detail which is great for the inexperienced spouse (and probably quite a few experienced ones). Numerous facets and styles of sex are discussed, though intercourse is emphasized. As others have noted, drawings are tasteful and helpful where verbal descriptions would be lacking.
As with any book, the author's opinions do color the content in places, but that's to be expected. It is surpassingly better than some older works in the genre which, although sex-positive, are heavily biased toward the author's personal views with no scriptural or scientific basis to back them up.
Mostly it is a valuable tool from an educational standpoint in preparing both bride and groom for what they will be facing in this intimate arena. If anything, I am more curious to read the full version of Celebration of Sex to see how the author expounds on what is found here.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, whether Christian or not!
So much useful information to help create not only a great sex life but a great marriage too.
