I suffer with insomnia and have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety. I refuse to take medication to sleep every night. This tea has helped me so much. When I can't sleep I will make a cup and within thirty minutes I am fast asleep. I have incorporated making this tea in my night time routine and i cannot imagine being without it. I highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble sleeping at night.

After visiting the Celestial Seasonings factory in Boulder, CO (which I highly recommend), this became one of my favorite teas! I'm a big fan of their Sleepytime line - it actually doesn't make me sleepy and I'll even drink it first thing in the morning. The flavor combination in this tea is fantastic. They took out the blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn, and rosebuds of the regular Sleepytime tea and added licorice, ginger, and slippery elm bark. I am not a fan of licorice or ginger but those flavors aren't strong. The licorice is ever so slight and feels like a good throat-soothing component. I don't really notice the ginger. This tea is so good that I often drink it even when my throat isn't feeling sore! I can't find it in my local stores so I'm glad Amazon carries it. I highly recommend trying this!

He looked so swollen an infected that I took a pic to send my Medical Sister who said GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM and he did....but next day the tea arrived and he started drinking it and in a day he could breathe and now 3 days later he looks normal and is almost back to breathing normally....believe me it appears to have worked and soooo worth a try...breathing is a good thing!

I am not a tea drinker. I sometimes have trouble getting to sleep. 1 bag of this tea right before bed and I am out like a light! I am not a fan of the taste, but again I am not a tea lover or drinker. What i do love is the fact that it puts me out and there is NO groggy feeling in the morning. I used to take the over the counter pills but I would wake up feeling tired, not with this tea.

I made a tea the first night and slept deep and felt refreshed. The nect evening i added more water and a spoon of honey. About an hour later I was nice and relaxed and still slept like a baby. I have tried different strengths so I relax without falling asleep too soon. This works so well I have referred it to others in high stress situations. Will buy again

There is nothing to not like. I was having trouble winding down for bed and sleeping. I have a small cup of this tea about half hour before bed. Leave for the full time to brew to get the full benefits of the lovely flavours . It helps with my digestion too this must be the spearmint included. I add a little Stevia as I like herbal teas sweetened. These I will keep as my forever nightime drink.

This was the sleepy time extra not sure what the extra was but did not taste as nice as the ordinary sleepy time I usually order but could not get that.
