Praise for Ethereal...

Most addictive book for me since Sookie! - Amazon Review

Best Kindle read of the year - MissT

Ethereal is a must read - Amelia Sweet

The book is written beautifully and the plot unfolds delicately. It's a great story and I found the characters to be well thought through and impassioned. - Amazon Review

It's one of the best stories I've read recently and I would place it on the bestseller shelf with out hesitation. - Amy Jones Young Adult Fantasy Fiction Blog

Wow oh wow is this book amazing! It has been a while since I read a book I absolutely couldn't put it down. - Book Escapes

I LOVED this book ... I cannot wait to see what happens with the characters. I recommend this book to anyone who is tired of the same old paranormal romance book. This book has it all.
-Love Thy Teen Author Blog

Definite must read, and another new series I cant wait to read more of.

This review is for the entire Celestra Series.
The story line was somewhat unique, and I was interested to see what happened to the characters, but the books dragged out forever. The author could have easily put all 9 books (more if you count Ever After) into less than half that many. The main character, Skyla, becomes a bit annoying with her inability to decide between three men, and the action vital to the storyline doesn't even start until around the fourth or fifth installment of the series.
The thing that drove me battier than any of these things though, was the author's use of the words necrotic and distal. I think both words were used about 15 times in each book (I exaggerate, but they were used entirely too often) There were several other ticks and inconsitiencies in the writing that made me wish I had not invested that much of my time with these books.

These books are awful and there are 8, yes 8, of them. The author uses every three syllable adjective in the thesaurus to describe the surroundings and it feels as if she wrote the entire book in paragraphs and then randomly put them in order. You will notice it right away-'I hate it here!' 'It's so beautiful, I could live here forever!' What?
The main character has not a brain in her head and is so unlikable you start to root for the bad guy, although you will not really know if there IS a bad guy until around the 6th book. There is a love triangle which turns into a quartet where she makes out with all of them and changes her mind every other page over whom she loves.
Did I mention she's an angel? Like a real angel? You find this out pretty quickly in the first book with her love #1 telling her 'You're an angel'. She pretty much says okay and then goes to a party. Huh?
If the first seven books were free and the 8th .99 I might have finished this series but they're not so I quit.

Though I enjoy time travel/interesting fantasy novels, this one did not work for me. The characters were one dimensional and unbelievable. And the plot didn't progress in an interesting manner. Lots of potential- just did not come together.

I thought I would like these stories. I give it a big fat NOPE! You get sucked in at first, and then the only thing that keeps you reading is the fact that you already made the purchase. The character Skyla gets dumber and dumber in each book. I really didn't think it was possible, but she does. She is supposed to be an angel, but you have to be an angel just to continue reading this crap. Anyway, she is supposed to be an angel who will save the day, but she can barely get herself out of bed without tripping over her own stupidity. You would think that the writer would advance Skyla's character as each book came out, ( Don't hold your breath). She could have had a really good series if she advanced the character in her abilities as an angel who was supposed to win a war, but NOPE!!!!!!

I am not a fan of these books at all. The sentences don't really flow together well in my opinion and kind of are, more or less, all over the place. I have only read the first two books in the series, and I can honestly say I don't even want to read the rest of the series, it's that bad.

Most books have a really good main character, but this one does not at all. The main character in this book series is about as dumb as a box of rocks. I don't like her at all and kind of actually even start to despise her. It's really sad when you start liking the so called bad guys in a book over the main character, but that's what happened with this book series unfortunately. I feel like this series doesn't really appeal to anyone over the teenage years. Anyone who is over that age might as well not even get these books, because you will not be happy.

I feel like these books are way too wordy, and are really only wordy to make the book series longer. There are even grammatical errors, spelling errors, sentence structure issues, and all around a whole bunch of other problems. I definitely would not recommend this book series to anyone who has an appreciation for reading. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, which is what I have provided.

I've had a really hard time getting through the books. I'm a writer and editor, and I honestly feel like this author could have benefitted from a harsh editor. Everything is overly-detailed in a bad way. I feel like the first 30 or so pages could have easily be condensed into about 5 pages while still giving the right feel to the story.

The main character is hard to get behind. One second she loves her new home town, the next she hates it. One second she's in love, the next she isn't so sure. I get being a 16 year old girl, but this was confusing and unrealistic, even for a fantasy/paranormal story.

I do have to say that I absolutely love the idea of the series. I'm a huge paranormal and fantasy fan, and have enjoyed many young adult stories. Unfortunately, this one fell flat. It is confusing, unfocussed, and could seriously use an edit.

I received the first two books in this series in exchange for my honest review.
