Concert in Boston. As always, Celine is extraordinaire. Be aware this video is very similar to "Celine: throught the eye of the world".and I prefer the latter because it has some footage of her travel in between shows, which is more informative about her "life" with husband and son.

Great, except for shortened versions of hit songs

This is the best Celine DVD I've run across... Awesome performance, wonderful camera work and audio quality, hardly any backstage BS... Just a complete concert.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed at shortened versions of "It's All Coming Back to Me Now", "Because You Loved Me" and "To Love You More" being played as a medley. I could live with a shortened version of out the worn out "My Heart Will Go On" to make time for full versions of the other three songs I mentioned. That's the only reason I drop 1 star on this.

On the other hand, for around $18 you get the DVD *and* the complete concert on CD as well. Great bargain.

Can anyone recommend a Celine DVD which features the full versions of the three songs above?

The Power of Love

I bought this CD/DVD for one reason, and one reason only - her rendition of "The Power of Love". If you listen to one song by Celine Dion in your life, please let it be that one. It is the most beautiful and powerful delivery of any song I've ever heard. The fact that she delivered it in a live performance is beyond words. On most of the other songs, her improvisation (which is normally the reason I love live performances) just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. Especially "Shadow of Love" where she adds "mamacita" to the song. "Taking Chances" is the only other performance that I really liked, but being able to have my own copy of "The Power of Love" live from Boston made this purchase completely worth it.

This is probably one of the BEST concerts I have ever watched on DVD! I can not believe that one of my most favorite songs for years, "Because You Loved Me", is sang by this awesome singer and at 45 I have just became a huge fan. As a fan I have YouTubed and watched hours of interviews and documentaries on Celine and her husband and I am amazed that someone of her social status can be has humble and down to earth as she is. I would recommend her DVD's A New Day and Through the Eyes of the World to anyone who is a fan and to anyone who is not a fan just so you can get a better understanding of Celine Dion. After watching these DVD's you understand the process that Celine goes through to preform every song and when the dancers are entertaining between numbers you realize what it takes to change costumes. She does this all for her fans. When watching this DVD you realize the connection, admiration, and enjoyment that each fan has for Celine's music. The crowd at this concert is AWESOME! Buying this DVD would not be a waste of money!
