With the SureCallTM amplifier doing all the long-range work, the battery on your cell phone drains much more slowly, thereby dramatically increasing your talking time. This third-generation product is more efficient and more signal-sensitive than previous models. It runs cooler. Finally, it moves 95% of the RF radiation that carries the cellular signal away to a safe distance from your brain and body.
The SureCallTM CM2000-WL is designed to boost multiple users with maximum power. Therefore, it is best used in the following applications:
Frequency Range: Uplink: 824-849 and 1850-1910 MHz / Downlink: 869-894 and 1930-1990 MHz
Standard SUpported: CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, EDGE, TDMA and AMPS.
Gains: 800MHz 40dB / 1900MHz 45dB
Note: Requires 5-6 Ft. Separation from the Outdoor and Indoor Antennas.

So, in trying to return the undamaged product to Quantum Wireless because it doesn't work as advertised, I have to jump through 20 hoops and take a 20%-40% hit on my refund because I opened and tried to use the product. To me, this is fraud and theft. I don't know what else to call it.
I was told over the phone that, if I already had 2 bars, with this product I would have 3 bars. Well, if I already had 2 bars I wouldn't need this product and I wouldn't be out $200! I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I can't afford to be fleeced like this.
The new toy came and I tried it out, simple, just plug in and place antennas. I even placed the outside antenna inside the double paned glass door - against manual instruction.
Wow, my cell phone had all bars, instead of two and Internet access with Verizon modem was MUCH faster and more reliable. I have one place there to work, so I posed the internal antenna close to the modem and it worked great.
I spoke with a friend, who has almost no reception, he can even not send text messages or get reached by cell phone at home. Took the small unit there, he had immediately reception and several bars on the cell phone display in his car and called his wife in the house - crystal clear voice. So the unit works and saved me some money. Thank you, Doc-Holiday
For the price I still recommend this booster, unless you go into the professional market.

Easy to install, but I have not found it to help my reception a great deal.Published 16 months ago by Kyle E. McMillan
Out works okay but you have to keep the cell phone close to the interior antenna. It helps with dropped calls but could be better. Needs a longer antenna.Published on November 8, 2013 by Hoyt
It has no MAC address. Mine hardly adds a bar if at all. It must be a simple repeater, meaning that Verizon cannot connect directly to it, nor list it as part of your service. Read morePublished on October 16, 2013 by Paul Carr
