The author's style of writing is very descriptive and entertaining. You really don't have to follow basketball to enjoy this rich and inspiring story. I plan to give it as gifts to many of my friends who are passionate about life!

Celtic Pride is not about Boston but about a coach and team in Northern New Jersey. Kevin Boyle makes for an interesting study. Not sure if I love him or hate after reading this book but it does help me understand the background of big time high school basketball.

An excellent read on a fascinating school located in the shadow of Newark Airport. Fitzsimmons brilliantly describes the triumphs and disappointments facing groups of hungry basketball players, some of whom made the ultimate leap into the NBA. Once you start reading it, you will not be able to put the book down.

Fantastic story of one of the best High School Basketball programs in the nation, including their improbable success of building a team while battling their bitter rivals every step of the way. There is, specifically, the build-up for the State's biggest game that had me captivated through the end of the book.

I truly enjoyed every bit of this journey and I strongly recommend this to anyone who has a love of the drama found in sports.
