Looks very nice
Well constructed, heavy, solid
Handle operates smoothly
Not aerated resulting in a flow like a bath tub
Aims straight down resulting in water splashing on back of sink
I changed this review from 4 stars to 2. Though I loved how the faucet looked, I couldn't live with how loud it is and what a mess it makes. I gave it away and bought another faucet.
Then the other issue is the very high flow-rate through the faucet and the accompanying noise. When the hot and cold supply valves coming out of the wall are fully open (as supply valves normally are), the flow rate through the faucet is enormous and the faucet is really loud. Our water pressure it not particularly high - we live in the city of San Diego and have pretty normal water pressure from what I can tell. I saw that comment in another review, so I don't think it's just my faucet. BTW, there is no aerator on the spout. Anyway, my supply valves are ball valves, but I was able to turn them only 1/2 open, and that helps a bit with the noise and flow rate. It would be OK if my family were the only people using this faucet - we would know to only slightly turn on the faucet, and that would give a better, almost normal sink faucet flow rate. But it is in the guest bath, so I am sure guests would just open the valve, which opens quite easily, thinking it is a normal faucet and water will come gushing out, splashing everywhere.
The faucet reminds me of the faucet I have on my huge corner bathtub. That seems like a situation where this faucet would be good - this flow rate would be good for a tub, and the noise of the faucet would be masked by the filling of the tub. But as a sink faucet it seems weird - good looking, but weird! When I bought this faucet (I bought it a year ago, and am just now getting around to installing), it was described as a sink faucet, not as a tub faucet. I am glad to see the improved description - that is why I am giving it 3 stars.
