Range is exceptional. I have even opened my garage door with my opener and used this remote to turn on the lights from inside the vehicle. Since I had bought 3 sets, i now have two extra remotes for use in emy vehicles. The third oneis mounted on the wall inside my garage, next to my main lighting switches, so it is easy to locate and use anytime.
The remote is quite small, measuring 3-1/2" long x 1-1/2" wide and only 1/2' thick.
I have purchased extra units (total of 9) and all are programmed to the same remote button.
The remote outlet plugs into the upper socket and there is plenty of room to plug something else into the lower one.
Induction cooker survived but the wall socket needs to be replaced.
Seems it does not play well with high current appliance
I ordered a new one - but this one has another issue - when I try to pair one of the outlets with the remote, the other two outlets also get programmed automatically to the same switch! That is not the intent of having 3 individual outlets - which one wants to control with 3 different ON/OFF buttons on the remote.
I will likely return this as well and buy a Wi-Fi Outlet
There are three sets of on/off buttons on the remote and each section is labeled 1, 2, or three. You repeat the process for syncing the first unit, to sync the second and third units but use their corresponding on/off buttons (ie for your second unit, after you press the learning button on the side of it and the light blinks on the unit, you press the on button on the remote next to the number 2. Then you’ll use the on button next to the number 3 on the remote to sync the third unit after pressing the learning button on the side of THAT unit)
This made a world of difference. Now I can just come home, or my kid can, press the buttons and bam the Christmas tree is lit. No moving chairs or crawling behind the tree. No messing with plugs behind furniture and I’m so relieved at the end of a long day that all I have to do is press off before I go to bed. I think these will be outstanding in the summer for fans as well.
It's a good thing I really only needed two at the moment, but now I don't have an option to add another appliance. I wanted to add another fan, but now I can't without ordering another receiver.
Putting the failed receiver aside, I do like these remote outlets. The convenience of pressing a button to turn on a light or fan or whatever else is awesome.
