Not just for babies...

I recently went through a really difficult struggle with vulvodynia. Which is horrible for any woman to have to deal with. Sometimes certain ointments or creams can give relief to this condition depending on what brought it on. For me there was no relief for a very long time and anything I tried from the doctor would leave me raw and burning. So I starting searching for a more natural method. Diaper cream I felt like was the answer, but I had similar burning reactions. I tried all the major brands: Aquaphor, Desitin, Bordeaux's, but everything really hurt. I read another woman's post about her issues that were similar and she tried calendula ointment. That didn't work for me but I saw that Cetaphil created a diaper cream with calendula in it. Much to my relief this cream did not sting or burn. It provided me some relief from my pain and I was extremely grateful. I hope they never stop making this stuff. It's amazing!

This stuff is great for so many things! My newborn got a bad rash in the hospital from some of the adhesive tape they used and this cleared it up in about 12 hours. It also cleared up a little heat rash in her armpits. I even put this on a painful blistered rash I got from some plant I came in contact with and it dried up the blisters overnight! I will keep this cream on hand well after my baby is out of diapers.

I don't like it as much as other brands - prefer the Burts Bees (thicker, richer and seemingly better quality), but it is OK if you are dealing with a mild rash. We had to deal with serious rashes from antibiotics a couple times and this was shelved in favor of thicker creams.
