A dot then 7W then a dot after means 7 in Womens’ in medium width. A dash then 7W then a dash after (like this: -7W- ) means 7 in Womens’ in wide width. .9M. Is mens’ size 9 medium width, and -9M- is mens’ size 9 wide width.
These medium width shoes are best for people with narrow heels. The classic footbed is also hard/very firm so if you like cushion the cloud version would be better suited. If you have average or wide feet the wide fit would definitely be best or blisters would be likely.
Everything was fine with getting and returning them
This is a review on my first impression. I’m a size 6.5 in heels and sandals and a size 7 in close toed shoes. I got a size 6 in these and they fit perfectly. You kind of want to be careful with sizing because these have built in arches. If they’re too big then the arches won’t align with your foot. If they’re too small then your toes will spill out of the sandals. Mine have less than half an inch from my toes to the edge of the shoe which seems to be how they’re supposed to fit based on a quick Google search.
One thing that wasn’t obvious to me is that the toe strap loosens. I was confused because they were so tight but I tugged on them and they adjusted! I have bunions and they loosened enough to fit. I have no problem with the straps now. In fact, I can loosen them too much and they would be too loose. As others have stated, the strap flops around and can be pretty long. Mine don’t touch the ground though.
My first impression of the sole is that they’re not squishy. They’re pretty stiff and rubbery. I haven’t tried walking a couple of miles in them but I’ll try soon. I own a pair of Adidas slides which are so squishy and these are very stiff in comparison. Maybe that’s good for long distances? These are my first pair of hiking sandals.
I love the pink color! They look less like hiking sandals and more fashionable. I want to show a picture but I’m hesitant to take a picture of my toes for the internet to see forever. Take my word for it? The monochrome look is very nice!
