I ordered this film because I did not have a copy of of in my movie library and I have most of Bogart's films, I have known about this one but was not familiar with it, Different subject matter for Humphrey Bogart but he still brings his Bogart presence as one would expect and plays against another popular cast favorite Raymond Massey, The Movie was obviously made as a result of the interest in the jet age and breaking the sound barrier and this story takes it a little further. Great movie, good story and a very enjoyable watch.

This is a fun movie. it shows the start of the get age. At the very begining of the movie is a scene where bogart and people are flying a B17 near the end of the war and you get to see a german rocket plane the ME163 making a run. Kind of like seeing a flying wing in war of the worlds. Scenes from history. The movie is a love story and probably the watching is made worth it by the last line bogarts character says to the girl. PERFECT!!!

I completely understand that obscure movies like this may not economically justify pressing a disc. However, I would have gladly paid a dollar or two more for a disc that would last forever. Instead, they burned the movie on the old-fashioned, purple dye type disc that are only good for around 5 - 7 years. M-Disc last 100s of years. (You can burn an M-Disc at home too.)

This review is for the actual item I received from Amazon. If you are after a, "pure movie review", I suggest you look at the International Movie Database. There you will find many reviews without regard to the delivery mechanism.

This is a Great Movie. The image quality is excellent. Interesting, and well acted.
