For Adriano Passini the English Channel was something like a myth in his youth – fascinating, but impossible to achieve. His life changed when he started to practice meditation. Inspired from within and by his teacher Sri Chinmoy`s philosophy of inner and outer self-transcendence, he decided to take up the challenge.
In this book, he shares the joys and hardships of his two-year-journey of inner and outer preparation and reveals to the reader that, with sincere dedication, determination, the power of the heart, and God’s Grace, seemingly impossible dreams may become a reality.

I think most of us probably spend 99% of our time focused on physical conditioning and only 1% on mental preparation. He seemed to be much more on the 80/20% split.
I'll bring his book on my flight in February to my next marathon swim...and re-read it.
My mental preparations are different than Antonio's but his book forced me to double down on the mental aspects of not only the sport but of myself.
Early on he declare that he NEEDS A CHALLENGE in life....from there her had me hooked.
