And love is in the air. Amazing storyline - can’t wait to see if there will be another story- but that’s for another day.

What do you do when your mate kidnaps you from a family celebration, one that involved both of your families? Well, when you are half Dragon but can't shift and he takes you to a cold, snowy world, you make the most of your unplanned vacation. After all, he is your mate and you have been avoiding him.

Edana has a secret, stressful job. Well, the fact that it is a secret accounts for alot of the stress. She is used to being alone and to being a workaholic whose family has never even seen her apartment. While she is aware that Aleric is her mate, she doesn't need a man, er dragon, to fulfill her, or does she?

Aleric is tired of waiting for Edana to acknowledge him as her mate. Kidnapping her she the only way to get some alone time with her. Maybe the cold, remote cabin was a bit much. He decides to try again with a nice, warm, deserted island.

Unfortunately, mating is not the only important thing going on in their two worlds. His father the king of the Dragon world, is acting extra crazy, vampires are disappearing from the human realm, and shifters have started snatching humans in order to procreate. The balance is off and something has to give. Find out how the slayers, the vampires, the dragons, and the shifters join together to get rid of a demon. And maybe a certain Dragon Prince and his mate will find their happiness at the end of it all.

Becoming Mated

This is a story that brings us Aleric’s and Edana’s story. Aleric is a Dragon Prince who has known his mate, Edana and she has fought their bond and he has taken it upon himself to kidnap her during a family gathering to a cabin in the snow with no escape. Once they seal their bond Aleric then takes her to a warm beach and they truly fall in love with one another. Edana fought so long as she has a job not many know about and Aleric’s family is under surveillance as his father the King has been acting very unusual, vampires are disappearing, human woman are being taken to mate with shifters and the imbalance is causing issues in their worlds. Edana who is half slayer and half dragon that can not shift has been on her own a long time but with her mate, Aleric and their family they will need everyone’s strength to take out the trouble brewing. Edana finds a new part of herself once she feels her mate may be in danger. I loved how strong she becomes to help care for her mate and family! We get to catch up with the Alexander’s and their mates in this story. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Edana is half dragon, half slayer like her cousins Arista and Willow.
Edana has known this longer than her cousins.
Edana's dragon half is weaker.
Edana works for a fringe shadow organizations.
This position allows Edana to oversee the magical world.
Edana holds many secrets.
Which is why she holds herself back from mating Aleric.
Edana has witnessed her cousins mating and doesn't want to lose her identity to her mate and she's also unsure if she'll be able to let Aleric in.
Edana isn't used to letting people get close to her.
Aleric is prompted to abduct Edana and she eventually drops her guard and accepts Aleric as her mate.
This was only half the battle in this book.
Mating bliss doesn't last long because Edana, Aleric and the others must head into battle over the King's antics.

I can't say I enjoyed this one much. I wanted more from a story but this was just long drawn out sex scenes and repeating the same line about not talking about her job. I'm trying to read about the king and other shifters snatching women and this was just sex and a little line about nothing and more sex. It took me forever to read because I kept stopping wanting to just end the nightmare or reading it. Then for the king to not be who we were told was boring, why let the first two go how they did if you're really someone else? If that guy was so bad why care if Malcolm died away, or stop chasing after them? Why let Henry off the hook so easy? Didn't enjoy this one at all.

This was the best book about Aleric who’s the Dragon Prince and super frustrated about his mate Edana avoiding him that he kidnapped her from a family celebration of both their families! He’s waited but his patience ran out and he takes her to a snowy cabin but then goes to a warm island. Edana knows Aleric is her mate but she has a secret job that no knows about. She’s half slayer and half dragon but she doesn’t need a man to take care of her. But there are strange happenings going on as the King is acting crazy, vampires are disappearing in the human land and shifters are using humans to have sex. With the balance off, all shifters, vampires, slayers and dragons have to come together to find out what’s causing this. Aleric and Edana have help and Aleric hopes it’s all cleared up soon as he wants his mate now! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
