Michael Harmon is my favorite author so I may be a bit biased, but also this means that his writing is easily enjoyable. Like the title states, I couldn't put this book down, it's suspense and dialogue kept me wanting to continue all day, and in fact this is the first novel I've ever read in less than 24 hours. The book seemed like a mix between the movies 'the skulls' and 'a place beyond the pines' (one of my favorite movies), and the character, Thomas Singletary, reminded me of the character, Emmitt, from 'Drillbit Taylor' but instead of being a wimp was actually a badass. With that being said the book was very fun to read, it wasn't mind blowing or my favorite Harmon novel, but it had me interested from cover to cover. Michael Harmon is killing the novel game. Give this book a read if you want something suspenseful with a twist that won't disappoint. Now I wait for the next Harmon book to drop.

The novel "The Chamber of Five" written by Michael Harmon, ended up being a great read. In the beginning of the book it's kind of hard to follow, but once all the characters are fully discussed and mentioned, the novel comes together quite well. This was my first Harmon novel i've read and it was defiantly worth it. There are some childish remarks throughout the book but nothing too bad. After reading "The Chamber of Five" I'm defiantly going to try some of his other novels. As a young adult, I recommend this novel to all teenagers at a high school level.
