lucii you asked me to review this from a beta reader point of view and give my honest opinion.
You have made me happy women to be the first to read this. i love following your work i have known you for over ten years or so as friend, now in the last three years I've have become to see a very talented Author. With big dreams for her future, i will be right by your side cheering you on. because that's what friends do SUPPORT.
I love the first two book's from lucii MC series and fell in love with Champ and Lauren charactes that to be able to read the next book had me jumping around.
Champ happy with the way life was going with Lauren, Champ was on top of his game dealing with club business attending to his Old ladies needs.
Then news comes in that another Mc needs our help Don't want to give to much away, Will Champ and Lauren get there happy ending or will there be more trouble ahead for the couple. can the couple cope with any more heartbreak

""Highly recommended read""

We get a sneek peek at Champ & Lauren’s relationship who we know from the first two books in the series.

It's Christmas time and Lauren is out buying gifts for Champ. With her best friend Alexis, who is now six months pregnant with Cobra's baby.

Everything is going good between Champ & Lauren. Until the Crusaders gets a call from a small MC needed help?

Will Champ & Lauren's relationship survive this situation? Will they get their Merry Christmas? Pick up this novella to find out.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a honest review. Review by Melissa K for HEA Fanatics.

I was given this book in the form of an ARC in return for an honest review which is what I always do.
Champ & Lauren is the third book in this series. I read the first two books and this one had me by the seat of my pants and would not let go until I finished the book.
Champ and Lauren were in the other two books but not as the main characters. This time they get their own book. Yay!!
Champ belongs to an MC club and Lauren is his ol' lady. Most people think of MC clubs as gangs that are bad but that is not totally true. They love and protect what is theirs and do what it takes to keep everyone in the MC safe.
Champ and Lauren's relationship is hot and sexy. Did I say hot? I meant " Smoking Hott ". It is Christmas time and Champ is busy with day to day club business while Lauren is out shopping for Champ and preparing for Christmas.
Then next thing you know the MC is getting asked by another club for help and the MC agrees to help them. Then hell breaks loose. The calls come in ( not revealing what about) and everyone involved with the MC is gathered and taken to the clubhouse which in turn gets locked down.
Let me leave you to ponder these thoughts........
Will Champ and Lauren get their Christmas? How long will the lock down be and how many casualties will there be? Will Champ and Lauren's love be strong enough to survive this ordeal? To get the answer to these questions any many more that might be running through your head now you will have to read the book. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

This book is a very quick, enjoyable read. I have read book one, An Honest Mistake with the yummy Cobra. You also get to know Champ and Lauren in book one too. I have not yet read book two The Last Betrayal which is Champ and Lauren's book. In saying that I didn't feel at all lost skipping ahead to book 2.5. There were a few references to things that happened but they were explained enough that I got the idea of what happened in book 2.
Champ and Lauren are now living together and are getting ready for Christmas. Lauren is a strong personality which Champ loves but he also has to be the dominant, especially in the eyes of the other Club members. Lauren oversteps her boundary a few times and Champ has to put her back in place. This causes some issues between the two. I found that the scenes were so well written that when Champ told her off I felt so bad for Lauren and I wanted to jump through the book and bop Champ on the head. Then when he felt bad for hurting her I would get all mushy and forgive him too. As I have previously written I am only new to the MC world and at times I have to remind myself that what happens in this world is not what you see in other romance genres and the violence is part of it and is accepted here. In saying that it was nice to see Champ struggle with it too. Made me like him that much more. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I loved the ending "happy sigh"

This was a great addition to the other books in the series. It let us into the life of Champ & Lauren that little bit more and still gave us some of the other characters too.
It was still full of suspense and drama and was HOT!

A must read.

Oh my word! Lauren is off the chain at the beginning of this book. What has Lauren in such a panic that she calls Alexis for help and screeches at her? Once Alexis settles Lauren down and Lauren makes her decisions things seem to go a bit better for L. We find out that she and Champ have purchased a house on the same street as Cobra and Alexis, just three houses down as a matter of fact. How convenient is that? Is it a good convenient or a bad one? The boys are working with the club on some business, to help out another smaller club in the LA area. Who are they, what do they need help with? Why are the Crusaders so ready to help out? One Sunday, the men are at the clubhouse, and Lauren and Alexis each get a phone call. Who was on the phone and what was the call about? What does Champ do when Lauren calls him? She calls Alexis to come over, does she? What happens when she gets there? I can't say much more without giving anything and everything away in this book. You're going to have to read it to find out what happens. :)
