Whether you need power for your home or next project, Champion Power Equipment makes powering your life more convenient than ever. The convenient electric start includes a battery, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather. Designed with a low oil shut-off sensor, this unit includes 1.2-quarts of 10W-30 oil. Operate your Dual-Fuel generator right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with our patented fuel selector switch that allows for safe switching between fuel sources. Using gasoline, the 439cc Champion engine produces 9375 starting watts and 7500 running watts, and will run for 8 hours at 50% load when the 6.1-gallon fuel tank is full. It produces 8400 starting watts and 6750 running watts, and will run for 5.5 hours at 50% load when using a 20-pound propane tank. Also included is a 3.3-foot propane hose with a built-in regulator. With a noise level of 74 dBA from 23 feet, which is a bit louder than a vacuum, this machine can provide home backup in an outage, plus the Volt Guard built-in surge protector prevents overloads and keeps your equipment safe. Plenty of outlets are available, with a 120V 30A locking outlet (L5-30R), a 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R) as well as four 120V 20A GFCI protected household outlets (5-20R). Champion’s thoughtful packaging and clear directions make setup hassle free, plus the foldaway U-shaped handle makes it easy to store, while the never-flat tires in the included wheel kit make transport a cinch. Buy this EPA certified and CARB compliant generator with confidence – Champion Support and our nationwide network of service centers will back up your purchase with a 3-year limited warranty and FREE lifetime technical support.

Update: Champion support person who seemed a bit UN-interested in the details of my problem said to just return it. I initiated the return. Amazon will send another one and the carrier will pick up the old one at the same time for the return at no charge.
---------------------------------------------
Update: New unit arrived (although late) in good condition, and the old unit was taken away. Went through the same steps to install wheels, stand, add oil etc. Hint, a bright flashlight makes adding the oil easier. Cranked up on propane and all is well. Note: on propane, it actually helps to read the instructions and follow the choke guidelines. There is a little bit of art to getting this thing cranked up on propane, but once you learn it, it usually starts on the first try. I noted that the unit shuts off pretty quickly after closing either of the propane valves.Next update will be after our annual Hurricane. Be sure to turn the battery power switch off when storing. It has a light in it that will drain the battery just that much faster is you leave it on. Note, Despite the all-American sounding name, these are Chinese Generators. For your reference, this was 879 bucks when I bought it.
---------------------------------------------
Update: Exchange date + 2 weeks; Notified that I need to return the original or face getting charged for it. Well, once the return got on the shippers truck, nobody seems to know anything about it. Should have taken video of them loading it. Amazon special handling is working to figure out what is going on.
---------------------------------------------
Update: Despite 2 extended calls to special handling where I was assured that I would not be charged again, sure enough, a new charge appeared on my credit card for the generator that was never returned by the trucking company. Another call to Amazon cleared this up and the charge was reversed without any hassle. Generator is waiting for this year's hurricane. Lesson learned: If you have to return something like this, be sure to get paperwork, and take photos of it being loaded onto the truck.

I gave it 4 stars for the GFCI 120v plugs. They are total junk, they kept tripping when I tried to run certain LED lights. On day two I removed them and installed just regular receptacles and it was smooth sailing after that. No issues.
I would totally buy another one of these and recommend it to anyone in need of a generator. This one saved me from a lot of cold nights and having to waste over a 100 lbs of frozen/refrigerated food.
