- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2014I really enjoy reading through this kid's book with my niece and nephew. It not only teaches them more about what it means to stand up for the rights of others, but it also teaches me an important history lesson on Cesar Chavez. The colorful book arrived quickly and is easy to read through. I also appreciate that it's not another fluffy book about fairies and princesses - it's something useful that will teach my niece about the importance of being a true leader. Great book!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2017This book conveys the message of Cesar Chavez' in pictures and storytelling. It was very engaging for my K/1st grade class read aloud. Students learned a lot about the labor movement in our country and Chavez' life. Teachers of upper grades at my school have found it to be of high interest to their students too. What makes this book unique is how the author has created a biography that is interesting and accessible for all ages.
