As a human being who, like so many others, has struggled with change and trying to make meaning out of chaos, this book touched me deeply and personally. So much so that having initially purchased it on my Kindle, after only two chapters in I realized I needed a hard copy knowing I wanted to return to it again and again to see what I missed. I ended up buying two copies so I could give one as a gift. As a psychotherapist who specializes in working with life-threatening and chronic illness, I saw immense value in the wisdom, insights and practical suggestions that Sharon Weil shares that would benefit those who face change at the most profound levels-Life and death. So much so, that I recommended her book and introduced some of her quotes in a recent project I developed for cancer survivors. I'm looking forward to exploring the playbook and cards as tools for my personal and professional use. Michael States, LMFT

There's a ton of useful information in this book, which uses the valuable voices of people whose lives are invested in making meaningful change to make significant points about the nature of activating and awakening. Weil's "Seven Principles for Change" is a great, valuable breakdown of the elements that go into making change happen. The book is well worth exploring for inspiration and guidance, and I'm sure I'll be dipping back into it to grab quotes, in the years to come.

Sharon Weil (also founder of the intriguing and always interesting, Passing4Normal podcast0, has spent several years interviewing a wide variety of experts in the area of change and our ability to navigate through it. In this book she captures the essence of what she has learned from them and provides her insights and wisdom for those of us dealing with change. I particularly resonated with her thoughts on resistance--that lack of trust and self doubt were the two greatest forms of change resistance.
Definitely worth a read to prepare for or navigate through the next change in your life.

This incredibly hopeful and practical book is like a rich meal—I wanted to wolf it down, but it demanded that I nibble and savor instead. It was tastier that way, and allowed me to absorb every last nutrient. Sharon Weil has done a hugely valuable service bringing the voices and struggles and wisdom of two dozen change makers to the fore, and laying out in clear and compelling language what she has learned in the course of listening and thinking about how we struggle against and align ourselves with change. A guidebook anyone can follow, ChangeAbility inspires confidence to wade into the current of change. The book invited me to expand my sense of the possible.

I had the opportunity to read an advance copy of "ChangeAbility" and immediately put it to use.
Since "navigating change is the new stability" we all need a personal copy of "ChangeAbility" close at hand.
Weil takes the fear out of change and shows us how to not only welcome change, but embrace it.

A rich read read cover to cover, but also rewarding to flip through or open anywhere as a meditation. Jam-packed with inspiring quotes and rich nuggets of wisdom. This book features excerpts from interviews with "change experts": people from all different walks of life who work with change in in-depth ways. Great to hear such a diverse assortment of perspectives and approaches to making, supporting, and riding change of all different kinds. A valuable tool, especially for those who feel overwhelmed by change. This books breaks the chaos down into approachable, easy steps.
