Another good Basic Fantasy module. Definitely some thought put into this. Love the abandoned halfing house, as well as the abandoned castle, which logically the locals have been taking quarried stone from. I do appreciate also that the caves as an option aren't all together, but we didn't know any better back in the 70's when modules were created, so keeping them together is fine with me.

Price is amazing, as always. I do wonder about the banker coating his money in poison. Remind me not to exchange money in that town.

Incredible... More than just a simple dungeon; this is an entire campaign setting! You’ll have to flesh out the inhabitants of the town a little bit, though... You can even add your own dungeons or those from other published adventures to the included wilderness map.

This is a very good offering. He not only builds stories and background behind the adventure, giving better motivation. He also sets it up to either be played as a single really long adventure or to be done as several adventures. This gives characters a much better chance of survival, getting to rest, rebuild, and prepare for the next part. It is also more logical (fighting words to some old school players) to have differing hostile kinds of monsters, animals and semi humans living in different places instead of all jammed cheek by jowl in the same cave for years (without killing each other) waiting for you to show up.

The content is excellent, but sadly, i ordered 2 different adventures and the pages came mixed between the 2 books, making them unusable. I.E.: in between page 22 and 23 of JN1, I have page 1-8 of JN2 (and they are missing from their own book). Only way to use them is to take appart the books and would I've knew that at first, I would only have printed them for free. Quite disappointed even if they are inexpensive.
