The box is well built and has seen a lot of rain in the 2 weeks it’s been up- time will tell if this box holds up for the long term. The main reason I purchased this was to prevent unauthorized use as I had my wall connector (charger) installed on the outside of my home. If you are looking at this, I’m assuming that’s your main purpose of purchasing, like me.
As a bonus, it does come with a topfit holder (not pictured on the stock images) which retails around $25 here on amazon. So after a few heavy storms the wall connector (charger) was bone dry - not that it couldn’t withstand the elements as they are designed for outdoor and indoor use. What I like about the box mostly is the aesthetic and clean looks it provides (well except for the gaudy red lightning on the front). It’s easy to open and close. What I don’t like is the lock. For some odd reason one of the keys provided doesn’t work, so locking and unlocking is only good with one key and even then it’s tricky as the handle almost always pops out when inserting the key. I’ll most likely look at replacing the lock at a future date and if I can replace it with a better lock I may upgrade the rating.
All in all this is great if you want to keep your wall connector (charger) shielded from the elements. If your primary goal is to keep others from using it is ok.
