The blue light built into the charger was on but both the type c and the type A were dead . I saw one review where the same thing happened and I have already started the return process . I like the low profile and compact design of this charger. But it is hard to push into the cigarette lighter outlet, if it is forced into the socket, then the problem will be hard to get it out. This car charger does not fit for both my Toyota and Honda car. I never expect this will happen. Have to return it.

First order, I opened it, threw the box away, and plugged it into my car. I smelled electrical burning smells and quicklt unplugged it. The blue LED light worked but nothing more. Since I threw the box away I didnt even think I could send back or get replacement. But I left a review indicating that it was nothing more than a glorified blue light. The company contacted me via email for refund or replacement and even offered to give me an upgraded version. They didnt have to contact me or offer an upgraded replacement. I thanked them and requested the original version/smaller version I previously purchased to be sent to me since I wanted a smaller less bulky item from the start. They sent it to me. The replacement works fine, does what I need it to do and just glad that my first order was just a dud. I recommend this product because of The Company not the product exactly. They stood by their product and offered solutions if things were damaged.

cheap 30W charger - annoying power disconnect

This is pretty good for a ten dollar car charger that supports USB PD at 30W. However, it is really annoying that when two devices are plugged in simultaneously, it will stop charging one of the devices. I have some devices that continuously "re test" the charge input, to see if a charger is connected. This causes power to continuously switch back and forth between the USBA and USBC outputs, with neither output staying on for very long. The only reliable way to use this charger is to plug in only a single device.

This unit will charge cell phones & equipment fast when it works. The issue is after a couple weeks it stoped charging my NEBO flashlight on both ports both the C & larger one. Flashlight uses the standard 3.7V rechargeable battery as most flashlights do. I unhooked both my cables & tried my lower 1.5 amp (same circuit board version as this product) from the Dollar Store & Flashlight charges. Then I hooked it to my 2.5 high amp wall charger in house & flashlight charges fine. But this 12V adapter stoped charging this device but it still charges my cell phone just fine.
So my only guess one or more of the pins aren't receiving connection anymore to charger certain devices.
I purchased another one & Amazon just delivered it. I went & tried the replacement guess what..... the C port doesn't charge my flashlight but the top large port does. The original one I bought first charged my flashlight using either one.
It's also like this on any of my devices that I use for work that use larger batteries other than a cell phone. My trusty Dollar Store one hasn't failed me though & I've used it for a couple years now daily. So it's not anything I own causing this adapter to be burning any the circuits out prematurely.

30W USB-C PD Charging, but not w/both ports

This product appears to be well-constructed of aluminum and fits snugly into the car lighter receptacle. There is a blue light which appears through the USB-A port to signal that the charger is receiving power. It will charge my MacBook Pro (both 13 and 16) at 30W with the USB-C PD port, but as another reviewer noted, if something is simultaneously plugged into the USB-A charging port, the output is reduced. In my case, I saw the 30W drop to 15W, despite the item's advertised claim of 60W total output (30W each port).

With the USB-C PD port drawing 30W, the device does get quite warm to the touch, which I suspect is common with small chargers and high power draw devices.

Even when there are no phone on the wireless car charger, as long as it's plugged in, the output of the USB-C is limited to 5V

The only way to use any fast charging over USB-C is to unplug the USB-A device

Misleading labeling claiming that the total output is 60W, when in fact, it's limited to 5V/5A = 25W when both are plugged in

Misleading wattage.

As one of the top reviews states, this thing is misleading. It limits the voltage of both ports when both ports are plugged in. I had a previous dual-port charger for my dash cam and for my phone, and that would "fast charge" my Samsung. I got this 30W charger for super fast charging. Turns out it slow charges. When my 7.5W dash cam is plugged in, my phone can't even draw the necessary 25W to super fast charge. This thing is effectively useless for me since my 4-year-old one does it better at a lower rated wattage.

Update: The seller reached out to me to make amends and offered me a refund or another option I may suggest. I suggested they instead send me another model of car charger they offer, the 66W model. They agreed and I had it at my doorstep within 2 days. This other model of charger does indeed super fast charge my phone while my dash cam is plugged in. It's a tiny bit bulkier, but seeing as how I get to keep the old one and got this new one with no additional cost, I can say I'm happy with the purchase overall.

One other thing to note. After experimenting with this listing's charger (the 60W model), I noticed that if I plug in my phone first, it'll super fast charge, and then if I plug my dash cam in, it will power on and my phone will remain super fast charging. So this car charger is deciding in a weird way how much power to output. It's capable of giving me the 32.5W that I wanted, but it's deciding not to based on the plug order.

They made sure to mention that they fully intend to stand by their THREE year warranty. And if I had any issues with the new charger to contact them.

They reached out to me which in my mind is going above and beyond.

I now have a working USB c car charger that can keep up with me.

More than happy to change my review and recommend this product and this entire company. Very good company and easy to get ahold of.

This guy keeps our Chromebook charged and also our Nintendo switch and other power hungry devices happy as well!

This thing is unbelievable. When I opened the package and saw a tiny 1"x1.5" box I thought it was a joke. This miniscule thing becomes almost flush with the car when you pop it in, which is amazing because it leaves so much room for my phone in front of it. No idea how I'm going to get it out since it's a very tight fit and there's almost nothing to grab onto once it's in (maybe pliers or something?), but I leave mine in all the time so w/e. Just make sure the blue light turns on before you plug in a cable because at first it wasn't charging and I thought it was broken.

Definitely supports fast charging on new Samsung phones and iPhones. Haven't tried 2 at once, but I assume that works as well given how impressive everything else about this thing this.

Just buy this and buy another cable to go with it. AMAZING.

UPDATE! I contacted INIU customer support months after purchasing, and they made it right. They sent me INIU CI-711 which does charge 2 device at the same time and it has a nice LCD voltage meter to see how your car battery is holding up. Great company to buy from!

The reason I purchased this charger was for powering my dash cam while being able to FAST charge my phone. When both are plugged in, the dash cam doesn't get enough power. It's turn on and off non stop while my phone is showing charging then not charging. They claim it can fast charge but it looks like this device doesn't have this ability at all. It seems like it only sends enough power for one device and splits it to the 2 USB ports. Even when I manage to get it to power only 1 device, it's definitely not FAST charging. Super slow charging! Just because it has the Amazon Choice icon, doesn't mean it's worth buying. AVOID.
