"The story is an exhilarating voyage full of wondrous thrills and chills and is a perfect continuation of the Monster Hunter world. The tale resonates with the same type of magical splendor as the Rowling's Potter universe and the depth of the characters drives you to follow them along on their quest. I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a dark and thrilling ride!"
"D.C. and Michael pack a wealth of wonder and fantasy into this young adult adventure. Incorporating some of the most fascinating legends...I found myself being drawn to the depth of the characters and enjoyed watching their bonds grow as they explored the gifts hidden deep within them as well as the evil that hunts for them.
"I recommend this story for anyone who loves folklore and monstrous fun! From vampires to dragons, from witches to eerie ferrymen, this tale has it all."
The Dragon Gate starts with a bang and delivers to the end. It includes cleverly described monsters in a universe that is both daring and insightful. The book is both emotionally charged and action-packed as well as neatly tying together the three previous books in the series. Although you could pick this one up and just start reading, you won’t want to miss a thing by skipping the first three books. I have loved them all, but this one moved me the most. I have gotten to know these characters and by this book, when they hurt, I truly hurt for them. When they triumph, I want to cheer and hug them. If you like monsters, myth, legends, fairy tales, or fantasies – grab this book – you will not be sorry! This is a book I would recommend for readers of about fourth grade and up, though a few spots may be scary for some youngsters of that age, and appealing more to a slightly older audience. I loved it!
This book is a great addition to the series. Once again the authors showcase their knowledge of different culture's mythology.
They introduce us to some great new friends...and enemies, and add them to the adventure of our familiar monster hunters. Hopefully they stick around longer than some of my favorite characters from previous books.
Very eagerly awaited this book. It is a flawless continuation of the saga of young Charlie. Only problem I had with the series so far has been the wait for this book. I had almost given up. Well it has been worth the wait. Tittilating read. Can't wait for what comes next! Get it! Lol
I love this series! This book does not disappoint. I got to meet new characters, which helped add a special element to the story. Good vs Evil with a unique twist. The authors kept me reading by filling each page with action, from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book and the series!
