I purchased this on Kindle. I say purchased, but the truth is, whoever pays for this is only renting the book. That's right; you are actually paying for the right to open the book, and that is all you are allowed to do. Just like renting a movie. You don't own it. And for this book, which is 168 pages long, the price is excessive. I would recommend buying this in paperback instead of Kindle, because you would own the copy you purchase, but it isn't available in paperback. Taking all this into consideration, I do not recommend buying this Kindle book.

I always knew Chai was stubborn, sassy and independent but we see him in all his glory in this book! When he meets the tall dark stranger, Jay, at the bar he knows he must have him at least for a night. Chai is a confirmed bachelor and plans to stay that way because he has enough going on being a super uncle to Tater, running the family business and Aunt Kamlai. Jay is trying to forge his own path and go against his grandfather's wishes to mate his friend Kwesi. He is great friends with Kwesi but cannot mate with him because he only wants his fated mate. When he scents Chai, he knows he has found him. But like everything else involving Chai, it is not easy and without drama, sassiness and denial of feelings. Jay, an OSHA inspector, makes many visits to the Saithong businesses just to have a bit of fun picking at Chai and hopefully get him to see they are fated to be together. These regulation visits intrigue and frustrate Chai to no end! But will Chai push him too far with his sass and hot/cold feelings and make Jay leave forever?
There is a bunch of Tater, Tris and Moo in this one and they help the couple by being the loving family they are. Ty is Jay's cousin that hangs out on Bolder Territory all the time and is also there to help with her blunt way of stating the obvious as well as helping to smooth the way with their pack. I can also picture the babies that may come from the union of Chai and Jay. Gorgeous to say the least, I mean, look at the cover model who happens to fit the description of Jay perfectly. This is yet another sweet, fun, at times frustrating (Chai!) book in the Seven Corners Series.
