I should've just watched my Netflix show instead.
I was all but too excited to watch the show because I live in Camden unfortunately it fell short of expectations. It's a hard follow it only had like 3 good actors. The rest of the acting made it look like a school play. There was too much over acting 🙄. The storyline was all over the place, it had bad lighting and audio and worse was the editing. You can tell because in one frame at the waterfront there is a woman with a Selena shirt front and center, second frame she disappears and than she's back again. This was mediocre production at best. I get trying to include people from Camden to have parts but the casting directors dropped the ball big time.

This is unwatchable due to the incredibly poor sound quality and editing. It feels like somebody recorded this on a 1980s VHS home camcorder. How it got so many positive reviews when I couldn’t even get three minutes in is astonishing to me.

Glad to see some familiar faces in this, however it has been very hard to watch due to the poor storyline, lack of character development, musical scores, videography, etc. Very hard to get through one episode let alone compared to the three I watched, hoping it would get better.

Where are the rest of the episodes? Give me more!
When I first started watching Chase street, I thought it was hard to follow. I thought it was just another low budget show with bad audio and okay acting. After episode 1, I realized that the things I didn't like at first are what makes it good. Its raw, in your face high drama that makes you feel like you could be watching some days in Camden. The actors are real people. Too bad there are only 3 episodes on Prime, which is so weird. Where are rhe other 4? Reminds me of The Wire with more reality and regular people.

glad about having an all black cast butttt.....
while I'm all for all black casts and black creatives moving up in the film business and moving up in the world of cinema... a show about black people drug dealing and just out here spreading negativity about our communities is the exact opposite of what we are trying to convey in our movement. sorry but this is not it.

Gritty & Realistic Crime Drama
I loved this series! The storyline was riveting and the acting superb. I was submerged into this gritty world of crime and dysfunctional family dynamics... not unfamiliar in many real lives where survival is the goal. I found myself engrossed while sometimes laughing at the quick wit of some characters, and at other times teary eyed at the depth of emotion displayed by other characters (Goosey & son). Very entertaining!

Very disappointed
Very disappointed.i was raised in Camden. All I ever heard through adulthood is how bad Camden was. One year it made the cover of a Time Life titled Who could Live here. I could only watch the first 10 minutes of episode one. The profanity, violence, drug dealing, Camden is more than that.

The actress playing Goosey left me speechless, I have seen her work before where she played a grieving mother each equally believable. I look forward to the rest of the season. Keep it coming
