It would have been helpful to have photos of the finished items and an idea how many the dish would serve. On the plus side, the author provided lots of ideas for changing the recipes to fit one's family preferences.
I appreciate the tips incorporated in the cookbook, which are helpful for someone who is a newbie in cooking. The author presented various food preparation techniques and helpful recommendations- from substituting healthy choices of food and experimenting, to preparing meals with potatoes and "cutting the starch from the spuds"; from putting a new spin to the usual fast food favorites, to making our favorite dishes more nutritious. How about when fruits and vegetables are starting to get on the ripe side? The author has a say on that as well! The book is reader-friendly, even the instructions are easy to follow. Reading it felt as if I was talking to my best friend, while preparing healthy meals in the kitchen.
Now, I'm excited more than ever to try out the recipes on my own, I never thought living and eating healthy can be light on the pocket. Purchasing this book is just the right investment for a good life.

Skip the introduction and go straight to trying out the recipes which are particularly helpful for busy people like me. With the use of simple yet flavorful ingredients, the book offers great dishes and really easy to cook recipes for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner which would appeal to kids and adults alike.
Starting with the "Quick Mushroom Quiche", I found myself reading the entire book from cover to cover like I was reading a suspense/adventure novel excited to find out what's next.
