A totally unexpected gem that I now clutch right up there with 'It's A Wonderful Life', 'both versions of 'Miracle On 34th Street', 'Mr Smith Goes to Washington' and 'The Hundred-Foot Journey'.     Actually, it is a fun movie with a gastronomic journey that is a joy to wander through. I haven't seen Oliver Platt for quite some time on the screen, so it was a delight to watch him again. As usual, although in a brief cameo, Robert Downey Jr. was his usual witty and obnoxious self. He's great! Robert is so versatile, from the varied roles that he's played over the years, and his music... Scarlett Johansson was marvelous... as was Dustin Hoffman's brief appearance - an enjoyable ensemble cast of a who's-who of familiar faces. Jon's direction of this journey of self-actualization and realization, and re-discovery left me with a positive after-taste. I totally enjoyed the movie when I first watched it on Netflix; leading me to purchase a copy for myself. Watching all the food, and getting some meal ideas from the movie was a bonus.
