1. 'Made to our exact specifications in China' is still made in China.
2. Made of 3/4" thick rubber wood planks glued together to form a 16"x10" board.
3. Surface wood is not not finished/machined thoroughly - I had to properly sand and re-seal juice canals on a few of these boards.
4. Boards are wobbly on level surfaces due to dry wood even after [2] mineral oil treatments (wobble may exceed 1/16", which is irritating while working on level surface like stone or glass).
5. Great customer support - Grace & Julie are very responsive. 24hr response time is impressive! Company reached out to me to follow up on my original purchase and responded to my complaints.
6. Cutting boards ought to sit flat on level surfaces and ought to be sealed properly. All of the ones I got had some issues. They do their job, but I cannot rate them higher than average...

I bought this cutting board mainly because it is made of hardwood and was advertised as "Stronger Than Plastic Ware Or Bamboo Appliances". I had two bamboo cutting boards which retired after three years of use. This time I think my new hardwood cutting board should last longer. But I was very disappointed to find out on my first use that just cutting broccoli would leave marks on the cutting board. After only one week, I found a big crack on the edge of the cutting board. I am a graduate student living by myself and only cook occasionally (about 3 times a week). After a week of very light use, this cutting board already looks older than my previous 3-year-old bamboo cutting board. I am giving 2 star instead of 1 because it still functions as a cutting board. I am very disappointed about this product, especially after my expection being elevated by the advertisement.
Not durable. Cracks after one week of light use.
