Good quality, nice silicone grips, long enough handles to delve into tall jars

This is a great set of spoons. The handles are long enough to go down into tall jars, while the silicon padding on those handles make it easy to hold on to them even when dipping deep into a tall container. The silicon also makes them pleasant to touch, something that I never thought I needed in serving spoons, but is still a very nice feature now that I have them. The spoons themselves are deep enough so that they hold their contents well, and release them easily when and where needed. In addition, the smaller measuring spoons not only have the designations of a dash, smidgeon, pinch, drop and tad, but also tell you what that really means in fractions of a tsp, something I find much more useful than uninformative "quaint" designations. Since I mix up special diets for my elderly pets, it is very helpful to be able to measure a 16th or 32nd of a tsp.

I have owned these now for over a month, and have used them at least twice each day during this time. I am quite happy with how easily they clean up, and have had no issues with them.

These spoons are attractive, and of good quality, made of sturdy stainless steal that will not easily bend out of shape or succumb to multiple washings. They have rings that are strong enough to hold the spoons together, but also open easily.

My son recently told me of his need to measure 1/32 of a teaspoon and I found a number of sets of small volume measuring spoons on Amazon. Several had cute names for the dispensing units on the handle, like 'tad' and 'drop', but this is the only set I could find where it was clear from the pictures online that actual fractions of a teaspoon were stamped on each spoon in addition. The bonus with this set is the addition of other more standard units, including 1/2 tablespoon - I have a plastic half tablespoon measure that I have found to be very useful. The price was a bit off-putting but I went for it, buying a set for my son and a set for me. Glad I did. The regular spoons have terrific bulbous polymer handles that give you the sense of working with a precision tool, and the stainless steel gleams; overall they are a pleasure to use. I feel like I am doing precision cooking. The tiny capacity set is as pictured. The spoons arrived quickly and were well packaged. I'm glad I took a chance on these.

This measuring set is wonderful. Beautiful color, study and accurate. I love the rubber/cushion in the handles. Plus the smaller set is adorable. I really enjoy this set.
Downfall: The metal ring that holds the larger set together rusted the same day I washed it. Normal washing of dishes, nothing special. Left in drying rack over night and as you can see in my picture...it has rust on it. Its not a deal breaker just an FYI for you all.

The 5 piece standard set was the reason for the purchase and one of the selling points for me was the silicone handle. I can't tell you how many times my hands have slipped when adding, pouring, or transferring hands trying to hold on to a thin handle. This silicone handle eliminated that problem. I bought these measuring spoons mainly because I needed the mini spoons. I have found that they are very good quality metal, not flimsy like some others I have. I really like that the size is engraved on the spoons, not printed. I have a set that is printed and it wears off after awhile.. I also like that the mini spoons have both, the exact measurement, 1/8, 1/16 etc., printed on them as well as words, dash, drop, etc. They have long handles that fit well into spice jars. The regular size spoons have a coating on the handle that prevents them from slipping out of your hand. All in all, a quality product. I am very pleased with this purchase.
